ColorFabb PLA/PHA 3D Printer Filament
Some PLA filament can be brittle, but not colorFabb’s PLA/PHA. They compound PLA with PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate) to create an incredibly tough filament that prints fast and easy. PHA is like PLA a bio-polyester, so this unique blend is still 100% biodegradable.

Build platform: colorFabb’s PLA/PHA filament adheres well to both heated and non-heated build platforms. We recommend using BuildTak as your bed’s printing surface.
If printing on a glass bed, apply glue-stick. A very thin layer of glue will be sufficient to keep your print nicely in place. Another gluing method is dissolving PVA glue in water. The consistency of the mixture can be quite thin, like skim milk. By applying just a few drops and smearing the mixture out before you start printing will create a very thin layer which will hold the filament down.
PLA/PHA and Warping: PLA/PHA has very minimal warping tendencies, however if you are printing parts which take up the maximum area of your build space you might see some warping. If it is important that your part is perfectly flat, than we suggest slowing the fan that is cooling your part. This allows the material to slowly get rid of heat without warping. After a few centimeters of layers have been printed, you can turn on the cooling fan if the part needs it
